Position Overview
Are you the kind of person who sees great opportunities everywhere? Do you know how to turn ideas into support, and ideas into action? We’re looking for a driven, personable, and strategic leader to step into the role of Vice President of Sponsorship.
​
Your mission is: bring in funding and lead an amazing team. You’ll be the driving force behind securing sponsorships, especially for our annual Student Scholarship program, and play a key role in ensuring our non-profit has the resources to grow and thrive.
​
This is your chance to lead with purpose, build real-world business skills, and help open doors for the next generation of youth.

Responsibilities

Develop a clear sponsorship plan.
-
Build meaningful relationships with sponsors, from small businesses to big-name brands.
-
Tell our story in a way that gets people excited to partner with us.
-
Lead a team of Sponsorship Coordinators: delegate, support, and help them level up.
-
Run smart, focused team meetings and training to keep everything moving forward.
-
Collaborate with the team to align sponsorship with our big-picture mission and events.

You’re Great for the Role If You…

Are a Canadian permanent resident or citizen, aged 17–24.
-
Are currently in Grade 12 or university (students in business, marketing, or communications are a plus).

Are a natural leader who’s confident in managing people and projects.

Have a track record of getting things done; you’re reliable and results-focused.

Are a strong communicator who knows how to write a killer email and hold a great conversation.
-
Understand the value of sponsorship and know how to make a strong ask.

Are organized, professional, and comfortable using tools like Google Docs and Sheets.

Want to make a real impact.

It is preferred if you have sponsorship and/or fundraising experience, but not mandatory.

Position Overview
Are you a strong communicator with a passion for building relationships and making things happen? Join us as a Sponsorship Coordinator, where you'll help drive the financial engine behind our work.
Working directly under the VP of Sponsorship, you’ll help reach out to businesses, pitch our mission, and secure support. This is a great opportunity to build experience in communications, outreach, and real-world fundraising; all while helping students across Canada thrive.
Responsibilities

Reach out to businesses: (small, medium, and large) to pitch sponsorship opportunities.

Email, call, or meet with potential sponsors to build meaningful relationships.
-
Communicate YOC’s value in a compelling way that connects with each sponsor’s goals.

Collaborate with the Sponsorship team to brainstorm and execute effective outreach strategies.

Help craft pitch scripts, emails, and sponsor materials.
-
Maintain communication records and track sponsor progress.
-
Be proactive and professional; we’ll count on you to follow through and represent YOC with confidence.

Position Overview
Are you highly organized, curious, and love turning information into action? As our Research Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping our organization stay ahead; by sourcing, tracking, and sharing valuable opportunities that support youth development and our mission.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys research, thrives on organization, and wants to make a real impact through information sharing. You’ll be working with the VP of Research Development to make a mark on our team.
Responsibilities

Research new opportunities weekly: including scholarships, programs, grants, and events relevant to youth and our community.

Organize and manage internal databases to ensure accurate, accessible, and up-to-date information.

Use an internal Calendar to keep track of deadlines for various opportunities.
-
Collaborate with the Marketing Team to ensure relevant findings are shared on social media or through outreach.
-
Maintain clear communication with the team, attending weekly or bi-weekly meetings to provide updates.
-
Support cross-team collaboration by sharing your research in ways that support broader organizational goals.

​Vice President of Social Media & Content (1)
Position Overview
Are you a creative powerhouse who lives for clean visuals, clever captions, and scroll-stopping content? We're looking for a Social Media & Content Specialist to bring fresh energy to our brand and help us tell our story online.
In this role, you'll take charge of designing graphics and crafting content that amplifies our mission, engages our audience, and elevates our digital presence; especially on Instagram. If you're passionate about design, branding, and youth-driven impact, we want you on the team.
Responsibilities

Design and deliver high-quality, on-brand graphics for our social media channels using Canva.

Post on our Instagram consistently.

Ensure to interact and respond to our audience via comments and DMs.
-
Create compelling content for Instagram that communicates our mission and excites our audience.
-
Maintain visual consistency across all platforms in alignment with our organization’s style and values.
-
Pitch content ideas that are timely, relevant, and aligned with our campaigns or community goals.

Collaborate with the team to plan and schedule content that supports upcoming events and initiatives.
-
Stay on top of trends in youth, design, and digital media to keep our content fresh and engaging.
