Haasini Gathaatharan is a student from Ontario dedicated to creating opportunities that empower others to reach their full potential, a passion she has pursued as the Founding Vice Executive Director of Up Next Scientists and Co-Head of Finance at Human Nature Projects Canada. Through these experiences, she has found purpose in using leadership and finance to help others access opportunities they may not otherwise have.

Jovita is heading into her first year at Queen's University this fall, where she'll be studying Life Sciences and Biochemistry. She spent years as the captain of her varsity swim team and as a member of the varsity golf team. Outside of sports she has placed 7th in the world in Financial Operations Research at the DECA ICDC finals, served as VP of a 700+ member tutoring club, and completed a summer internship with Desjardins Insurance. She looks forward to continuing to grow both academically and personally at Queen's.

Alston Guo is a student from Ontario attending St. Andrew's College in Aurora who is passionate about making competitive debate accessible regardless of students' financial background.
As a competitive debater with years of experience, Alston recognized that access to competitive debate was heavily dependent on resources. In response, he founded ArguMINT, a free online debate tournament reaching 73 teams across 4 continents. Alston continues to lead initiatives to address the financial barriers facing debaters today.
Shreyanshi is the Co-Founder and Operations Director of the BOLT Safety Society, a Canadian non-profit preventing and responding to sexual violence, domestic abuse, and harassment.
She is a dedicated student who combines her academic endeavors with a passion for social justice to create safer and equitable communities.

Klara Nevrtalova is a student from British Columbia dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, with the goal of becoming a psychiatrist. As founder and president of her school’s Mental Health Awareness Club, she leads initiatives that raise awareness, provide resources, and support organizations such as the National Eating Disorder Information Centre.
She also serves as president of the Students4Students Club, leading projects that provide healthcare and education for children in Zimbabwe.

Thivya Jeyapalan is a student from Ontario who is passionate about music and increasing accessibility in education.
She was the 2024-2025 Co-President of FBL Canada and will be studying business next year at the University of Pennsylvania.
Thivya created a project called The Key of Sight which focuses on helping visually impaired musicians learn curriculum independently.
